With a team of 10 specialized professionals, more than 200 clients, including ICAM Cioccolato, Pellini Caffè, Luker Chocolate, and Altromercato, and operations spanning 45 countries, the Italian Benefit Corporation founded in Pescara in 2020 is heading into 2026 focused on strategic partnerships and technological scalability.
Trusty, an Italian Benefit Corporation leveraging the reliability and transparency of blockchain technology to enhance traceability and sustainability across agri-food and industrial supply chains, closed 2025 with a 50% increase in revenue. Established in 2020 in Pescara as a spin-off of Apio, the company continues to demonstrate steady and sustainable growth, confirming the scalability of its proprietary technology.
Today, Trusty reports significant international figures: over 200 clients, approximately 200,000 farmers mapped, and around 500,000 tons of raw materials traced across 45 countries worldwide.
A Lean and Efficiency-Driven Organizational Model
Alongside business growth, Trusty has strengthened its internal structure, building a team of 10 highly specialized professionals. The company’s strategic choice is to maintain a lean organization, prioritizing deep vertical expertise and fully operational roles. This approach avoids complex hierarchies while ensuring the ability to manage increasing workloads and volumes, supported by its proprietary technology.
Trusty’s evolution over the years reflects a vision grounded in sustainability and the development of solid medium-term foundations, focusing on the quality of expertise rather than sheer team size.
Trusty’s Supply Chain Traceability Solution
Trusty’s proprietary platform supports companies in achieving compliance across food and industrial supply chains. With specific reference to the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), Trusty operates through a structured ecosystem of solutions covering multiple operational phases.

The software enables the collection and verification of geolocation data from plots of land, using advanced algorithms or the free EUDR CC app — available on Android and iOS — designed for smallholder farmers. The system then facilitates data sharing with suppliers and legal risk analysis, gathering the required certifications to ensure raw materials originate from land not subject to deforestation after 2020 and in compliance with local regulations.
Once Due Diligence is completed and unique reference codes are obtained from the European Portal, traceability information can be transmitted along the supply chain to the final consumer via a QR code on the product. The effectiveness of this solution is reinforced by certification from RINA, recognizing Trusty as one of the first companies independently verified for its support in complying with EU Regulation 2023/1115.
Toward 2026: Partnerships and Consolidation
Trusty’s expansion journey does not stop at its current achievements. For 2026, the company aims to continue along this path of sustainable growth, strengthening its collaboration network and building strategic partnerships with key industry players.
“We are extremely satisfied with the results achieved over the past year. Doubling our revenue and consolidating our team of specialists confirms that we are on the right path: organic growth capable of generating real value for our clients without compromising operational agility. In 2026, our goal is to further develop our business through strategic partnerships, such as those already launched with major organizations like e-GEOS and RINA, enabling us to scale our technology even further and deliver increasingly impactful solutions for global supply chain transparency,” said Alessandro Chelli, CEO of Trusty.
