As part of the 2026 Sustainable Development Festival promoted by ASviS, the Italian Union for Sustainable Palm Oil UIOPS , the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), and Trusty are organizing the webinar " From voluntary sustainability to EUDR compliance and beyond: evolution and prospects for the sustainable palm oil supply chain."

The meeting is part of the debate on the role of supply chains in the transition to responsible production and consumption models.
It will focus on the integration of voluntary systems—such as the RSPO standard —and  the EUDR Regulation , with a focus on the practical implications for actors in the palm supply chain, in light of recent developments published by the EU Commission.

Two multi-stakeholder initiatives will also be presented: the  Community of Practice (CoP) , a public-private platform supporting the implementation of the EUDR, and the  TRAILS project , which, going beyond simple compliance, develops agroecological models that aim to make plantations more sustainable, restoring biodiversity, strengthening climate resilience, and supporting local communities.
